I wrote this essay when i was a student in the US.

Success

Success usually means attaining your goals in your life permanently. Clover used in the idiom, rolling in clover, means that a person is in a good time in his or her life because all good things are happening, but it is not necessarily permanent. A man had the winning ticket; he hit the Super Lotto for 32 million dollars. He quits his job, and goes on a spending spree. He buys houses, cars and everything his heart desires. He is rolling clover. He doesn't plan his spending or invest any of the money. He doesn't even hire a manager who can advise him--loses all the money in two years. He could have invested the money wisely, and it could have lasted a lifetime. In his case, he ends up unsuccessful, and in fact, he is poorer than the time when he purchased the ticket and he is in dept. He was rolling clover, but it wasn't success.

Success becomes a number one movie star at an early age. It is well known that he contributes large amount of money to charities anonymously. He owns beautiful homes, high-grade airplanes, and high-class cars. A huge runway is built joining his property, so that he can pilot his passenger plane right up to his door when he lands. He shows his excellent dancing skills on TV shows; he dances through out his life. Feeling accomplishment is success.

I am striving as hard as I can to attain my own goals independently, knowing that my family and friends foresee m future goal. I can not attain this without filling my heart's desires.

In the words of Anna Quindlen, "If your success is not on your own terms, if it looks good to the world but does not feel good in your heart, it is not success at all." (Anna Quindlen) I belive in Anna Quindlen's words. Success is not success without self satisfaction; self satisfaction comes only if you try or achieve goals. As Grace Hamsen states, "Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin." (Grace Hansen) I love his statement. Making the first move to accomplish anything will guide you to the life filled with fulfillment.

Success is a self satisfaction: to overcome fear; receiving thankfully and giving silently; raising your children; overcoming diversity; owning beautiful homes; high-grade airplanes; and high-class cars. Success is a high; world satisfaction; to make people laugh; to abide by rules; to overcome handicaps; graduating; selfishness; bank rubbers steal fortune; assassination.
